Hey team, here is a Maths quiz for you to try out. It is based on Fractions which we have been learning in class. Maths rocks, so lets get thinking!!!!!!

Did you know it is New Zealand Maths week? Well it is, so R5 has organised a Maths Challenge for the school. What you have to do is guess where in Newbury School these photos were taken. The class that guesses the most will receive a prize in next week’s assembly.

Below are some of the photos and the rest of them you can get off your teachers. Good luck classes, get hunting!!!!

Room 5 are learning about Statistics. Today we collected data (Colours of vehicles travelling past Newbury School) using Tally Charts. Next we are going to learn how to graph the data. Check out these photos from today’s learning.

Thanks team for a extremely busy but rewarding week. Room 5 is starting to take shape and it was great to get our new desks and whiteboard this week(Pity it wasn’t a smartboard, as Mr Baker used to teach with them in England and they rock!)
