About Us
Hi my name is Mr Baker and I teach Room 5 at Newbury School in Palmerston North, New Zealand. Room 5 is made up of Year 4, 5 and 6 students and is part of the Hillary Team.
Newbury School is a Decile 10 school ranging from New Entrants to Year 8. It has a roll of 160 and is located 5 minutes out of Palmerston North.
I have a passion for ICT and started this Blog in February 2008 after learning about Blogs at the Teacher Conference ‘Lighting the Flame.’

I loved looking at your blog. I am just getting started with blogging and trying to fiqure out ways to use it with my classroom. I am a looping Grade 1 and 2 (6-8 year olds) and your site is inspirational.
