Happy New Year everyone, it’s been an awesome year full of fun, excitement and drama!!

In 2008 I bought a new house, started a new job, resigned from my job twice, landed a new job, got married and best of all Trudi and I are expecting our first child.

2009, what does it hold? well who knows but I can guarantee that it will not be dull!! There is no sign of baby boy yet but if he is anything like his dad he will definitely be on time!!

The blog has been great and I thank everyone who has supported it over the year. Mr B loves the blog so much that he now has a Baby Blog and Sports Blog. Who knows where I will take the Blog next year.

Mr B will be teaching Fab4, Year 4/5 next year at Hokowhitu School. Aren’t they lucky! Can’t wait to meet my new class and get stuck in to some new learning. I have been in contact with a class in America and we are going to set up a blogging/skype project between our classes next year. Should be awesome!!

Enjoy your holiday everyone and don’t be afraid to drop me a line next year, I would love to hear what you have been up too.

My class is on summer holiday until February, in fact I have changed schools so my new class doesn’t even know that they have a blog.

I have checked out your Blog and think it is definitely one of the best ones I have seen. We look forward to working with you this year.

    Hi Mr B and Trudi
Happy New Year. We still don’t have broadband at home so I am at Mum and Dads work having a look at the blog. Has your baby arrived yet and have you decided on a name? I still think you should call him Riley and so does my Mum. Guess what I got for Christmas…. an electric guitar. Now I just have to learn to play it. It will take ages for me to get as good as Daniel though. I’m looking forward to meeting my new teacher Mr Hurley I hope he is as cool as you are. We went to Napier camping for a week. It was fun. We went to Splash Planet and I went on everything more than once. I hope you are having a relaxing break.

Hey Renee, thanks for the comment, sounds like you have been up to heaps. A electric guitar, how cool!! When I was at High School (Long time ago) all I wanted to do was learn how to play electric guitar. I’m sure you will master it if you practice hard.

I’m sure you’ll new teacher Mr Hurley will be nice, I’m preparing for my new class at Hokowhitu and am looking forward to meeting everyone. I have got lots of cool things planned for them. I’m feeling a bit sad that I won’t be at Newbury and am definitely going to miss R5.

Our baby hasn’t arrived yet but we have a feeling he is not far away. I like the name Riley but not sure Trudi does. Watch this space.

Have a great year Renee and I want regulary up dates on what you have been up to!

    ELETTRA

  10.   Mr Baker Says:

Hey Elettra, sounds like you have been up to heaps. Trudi loves trampolines and wants to get one when our child is big enough. I think she wants to get it for herself. You are learning how to surf, how cool!!

Because we are waiting for baby to be born we haven’t been anywhere exciting. We have swimming at Foxton beach a few times, which is fun.

Thank you very much for the Xmas present you bought us. We have found a cool spot for the picture on our living room wall. Every time I look at it I think of the Sciascia’s (a bit scary!!) and tell Karina I’ll only see her on the basketball court if she turns up on time!!!! Go Karina!!!!!

Have an awesome 2009 and let me know how your new class goes.
